Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says they are only focused on Sunday’s game against Chievo Verona.

Udinese lost grounds in the race to finish third and grab an automatic Champions League spot next season after drawing goalless at home to Bologna.

Francesco Guidolin’s men are 15 points behind AC Milan with eight games to spare in the Italian top-flight.

The 23-year-old says they were unlucky against Bologna but says they are not getting worried and only focused on their game against Chievo at the Stadio Fruili.

“The focus is on the whole to Chievo, beat the yellow and blue and then try to go further in this final part of the season, we have the potential for ourselves,” Badu said

“We deserved it, we were not lucky on Saturday, but the championship is still long and we still believe in the possibility to grab Europe.

“In any case we have no regrets, it is difficult for our reality to qualify for the European scene every year, we are now in mid-table and then you have to think a race at a time.”

The Ghana international has endured a difficult time at Udinese this term with persistent injuries.
