Saddick Adams is set to resume training early next week

Former Ghana youth striker Saddick Adams is likely to resume training with Berekum Chelsea after staying out for four weeks.

Saddick was forced out just after 10 minutes after aggravating a foot injury which ruled him out for almost eight weeks in Berekum Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Amidaus Professionals at the Tema Park in early March.

His exit forced Local Black Stars handlers to exclude him from the 26-man squad named earlier this week and raised concerns about a successful debut season with the Blues.

But the 23-year-old has given the Blues technical handlers hopes of early to training.

“It was painful that I aggravated the injury at that crucial point but I think I’m going to be able to start running lightly next week (maybe Monday),” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Saddick  joined Chelsea as a free agent in September but suffered a knee injury in November which ruled im out until January.
