Nana Akufo-Addo continues to receive felicitations days after the celebration of his birthday, with the latest coming from the Greater Accra Regional branch of the Nana For President (NAFOP) grouping.
The executives of the grouping, Samuel Bright Osei Puni, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the grouping, Samson Aboagye, Trobo/Amasaman Coordinator, Joseph Otoo, Secretary and Oheneba Kwarteng, national president, all converged on the Nima residence of the 2012 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to wish him well.
‘We wish to congratulate you and to thank the good Lord for adding one more year to your age,’ they told him.
They saluted him for what in their opinion is Nana’s patience, commitment, dedication and love for the good people of this country as evidenced, according to them ‘by your unquestionable demonstration of patriotism and good sense of direction which is beyond measure and attracted worldwide commendation.’
God, they maintained, is preparing Nana for the highest office of the land in the not-too-distant future.
They charged him not to waiver in his thoughts and trust in the Lord because as they put it He is a just and faithful God for whom nothing is too difficult and insurmountable, adding ‘the battle is the Lord’s.’
