Lubricants and mineral oil producing giants, Meguin Oils from Germany has announced its presence in the Ghanaian market by unveiling its wide range of products to carter for the needs of automobile,

chemical, manufacturing and construction industries.

The firm, operating in the country as Meguin Ghana Limited, produces lubricants and additives for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and heavy industries, including a variety of special products such as

polyurethane greases for the chemical industry, bentonite greases for the construction industry and synthetic industrial gear oils for wind energy plants.

According to company officials, each Meguin product comes with the best of prices available in the oil and lubricant market.

‘For us, affordability and quality are bedmates, and we strive to give our cherished clients the best of both,’ noted Kingsley Albert Owusu, Chief Executive Officer of Meguin Ghana Limited at the launch of the products in Accra recently.

He added ‘the long tradition of excellence we have chalked rest on the quality of raw materials delivered to our laboratory which are checked to guarantee the highest quality before production.’

Meguin stands for 160 years of experience in the area of lubricants, for quality and for finely tuned new product ideas.

According to Mr. Owusu, all products of Meguin are certified in accordance with DIN ISO 9001 and DIN ISO 14001 and have met environmental standards and regulations in each country the company

operates.
Dr. Victor Osei, Lecturer at GIMPA commenting on the product said ‘this is the beginning of a great thing happening.’ To him, Meguin does things differently by pleasing the customer other than the oil companies already in the Ghanaian market.
