The Black Stars will play Sudan in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in June

The Ghana FA has received proposals to play Mexico and Japan in an international friendly in June, 90 Minutes newspaper has reported.
The credible newspaper claimed officials of the Ghanaian FA are tossing with the idea of playing one of the two countries before the 2014 World Cup double-header against Sudan and Lesotho.
North American giants, Mexico want to play the Black Stars in the United States on June 4 while the Asian powerhouse are also keen to host the team in Tokyo the same day.
The Ghana FA are likely to however turn down the proposal as the timing will be stumbling block for any of the games to go ahead.
The Black Stars will play Sudan in Omdurman on June 8, meaning they will need to arrive in the country at least four clear days before the fixture to acclimatize.
The Ghanaians are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to make a third successive appearance at the FIFA World Cup and are therefore putting in measures to ensure they record the double over the Nile crocodile.
The team thrashed their Sudanese counterpart 4-0 at home two weeks ago to move just a point behind leaders Zambia in the race to top group D.
Victory over their opponent will enhance their chances of qualifying as group leaders with Zambia expected to face tricky Lesotho at home.
The Black Stars have become an attractive brand since 2006 and have played series of high-profile friendly games against England, Brazil and Holland amongst others.
