GHANA SKIPPER Asamoah Gyan says he will play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko before drawing the curtains down on his illustrious career.
The Al Ain goal poacher said wearing the red jersey of the Porcupine Warriors has been his long-cherished dream.
‘My dream is to play for Kumasi Asante Kotoko,’ he remarked, adding that the Kumasi-based club is dear to his heart.
The Black Stars captain also disclosed on Angel FM that he is an active supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
According to Gyan, though he is far from home, he always monitors Kotoko’s activities with keen interest.
He said he always prays to God to help Kotoko achieve more laurels on the field to bring smiles on the faces of their teeming fans.
Gyan said he can’t wait to wear the Kotoko jersey one day, stressing that ‘I will play in Ghana again and I will play for Kotoko.’
