The Ghana Premier League Board (PLB) has set the dates for two postponed top-flight matches involving struggling Tema Youth.
The Tema-based side had two of its matches postponed in the wake of its contribution of five players to Ghana’s U20 side that played at the recent Africa Youth Championship in Algeria.
The matches between Heart of Lions and Tema Youth and the game involving Tema Youth and AshantiGold were affected by the postponement.
Tema Youth had originally said that they can cope without their five players who has gone to Algeria to play with the Black Satellites.
But after losing all their matches since the departure of the quintet, the Tema-based club changed their mind and asked for their matches to be postponed.
The Heart of Lions v Tema Youth outstanding match in Week 19 will now be honoured on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
Also the Tema Youth v AshantiGold outstanding match in Week 20 shall be honoured on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.
Tema Youth are currently 14th in the 16-team league with 19 points.
