Better known in real life as Nicholas Kwadjo Boateng, Speaker, after hustling and tussling for the past 7 years he joined the music scene, he effort to compile his first 4 songs onto a mini-album became a reality as he had his debut mini-album dubbed ‘Azonto girl’ launched at Kwahu-Nteso last Saturday, March 30, 2013.
The launch saw dignitaries including Chief of Nteso, Nana Osei Ababio II, Queen of Ntesu, Nana Hemaa Akosua Seiwaa and the elders of Nteso, among others who graced the occasion. Secure, Ow3nfuo (Highlife Ace, Amakye Dede’s son), Ek Sahene, De Game Boys, Osei Tutu, Bob Okala Omar and Nana Osei and the Solo dancers were artistes who performed during the launch.
In an interview with the Chief of Nteso, Nana Osei Ababio noted that the entire community is overwhelmed by Speaker’s effort to put Ntesu also on the map of Kwahu Easter celebration “we very much impressed with his courageous step to move further on in his music career and also citing a good example to his colleague youths in the community.”
Nana Osei Ababio assured that together with his subjects, they will and are ever ready to support Speaker as well as the youths and advised that the youths in his community to stay focused and never give up in working hard towards their dreams.
Speaker thanked patrons who graced, encouraged and supported him since he joined the music industry, “I’m very grateful to everyone who supported me even in my hard times and I assure Nteso Community that I won’t forget where I’m coming from since stardom can sometimes mislead.”
The 4 title tracked-album has such tracks as ‘Azonto girl’ ft. Stay Jay and Secure, ‘Bidinbidin’ ft. De Game Boys and Limit, ‘Help me’ ft. PK and ‘Obeeho’. The full album is still being worked on in the studio.
