Pastor appeals to political leaders to use resurrection power to succeed




Agona Swedru, April 2, GNA- Rev Charles Arkoh-Nunoo, a former Central Regional Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church, has appealed to political leaders to let resurrection power be their watch word to enable them to succeed.

He said without it, it would be difficult for them to handle their positions efficiently as expected by Ghanaians.

Rev Arkoh-Nunoo said this when closing a four-day Easter convention of the Agona District branch of Assemblies of God Church at Swedru.

He appealed to Christians to use the death of Jesus as a covenant to free themselves from sin and other related issues that could create problem between them and God

Rev Daniel Oduro, Agona Swedru District Pastor of Assemblies of God Church said the church organized free medical screening for about 300 members.

At Agona Kwanyako, Rev Abraham Sanizy, former Chairman of Baptist Association appealed to the Ghana Medical Association and University Teachers Association (UTAG) who have threatened strike action to rescind their decision and go to negotiating table.
