Legal Practitioner and Greater Accra Regional President of the Ghana Bar Association, Frank Davis, has entered an appearance on behalf of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in the case in which Justice Kpegah is challenging his legitimacy as a lawyer.

In an interview on Eyewitness News on Thursday, Mr. Davis confirmed entering an appearance on behalf of the NPP flagbearer.

“When a writ is issued and you are served, you have 8 days within which to enter an appearance; so we have entered an appearance. Then we have 14 days to either file a defence or bring any consequential process,” he noted.

Lawyer Davis while declining to outline his strategy for the case, noted that: “Whatever we have to do, we will do to win the case. As and when we file any process, the public will get to know.”

The lawyer, however, maintained that it was up to Justice Kpegah to prove that Nana Addo was not a lawyer.

Retired Supreme Court Judge, Justice Yaonasu Francis Kpegah is accusing the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2012 general elections, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of impersonation.

According to Justice Kpegah, Nana Addo claims of being a lawyer are untrue and have challenged him with a suit in court.
