EX-KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko star, Sarfo Gyamfi is not impressed with the fitness level of most of the players in the dressing room of the Porcupine Warriors.
Surprisingly, the former Kotoko player unleashed the bombshell after Kotoko whipped Berekum Chelsea 2-0 in Kumasi.
Though Kotoko bagged the vital three points at stake, he said the fitness level of the players on the day left much to be desired.
Sarfo Gyamfi, known as ‘Black President’ in his playing days, consequently tasked the technical team to do something about the fitness level of the players.
He observed with pain that Kotoko struggled to contain Berekum Chelsea, who were playing with 10 men in the second half, adding that the Porcupine Warriors only won the tricky duel with determination.
The outspoken Gyamfi alleged on Angel FM that the Kotoko physical trainer’s job is being handled by someone who is not up to the task.
Though he did not mention names, he tasked the technical team to ensure that the right thing is done to help improve the physical condition of the players.
