IT Support Engineer at Voltacapital

Responsible for installation/configuration and maintenance of end-user computing systems (EUC) and for end-users consultation and support aggregating the following roles: End-user Computing Engineer, Help Desk Specialist.

This individual is accountable for:

• PCs (laptops / desktops) and their peripherals
• Printing/scanning hardware
• Audio/ video/presentation hardware
• Local telephony
• EUC LAN
• Local Internet connections
• Windows client OSs
• MS Office & common applications (readers, viewers, browsers etc).Usual tasks include:
• IT users 1st line support / troubleshooting in case of any kind of issues
• Install / rebuild workstations and configure end-user hardware and services
• Collect and track users requests
• Develop and maintain operational, installation, configuration and recovering procedures
• Repair and recover EUC from hardware or software failures
• Support printing / scanning / audio / video / presentation hardware
• Troubleshoot telephony issues, contact telecom operator as a 2nd line support
• Manage / troubleshoot LAN connections
• Assist users with personal Internet connections management
• Apply OS / common applications patches and upgrades on a regular basis
• Support and troubleshhot MS Office & other common applications
• Perform periodic Help Desk reporting.

• At least 2 years of IT related higher education
• Microsoft certification will be an advantage
• From 2 years of IT support / systems management experience
• Good understanding of Windows systems including Office applications
• Excellent communication skills
