David Accam is happy with his role Helsingborg IF
David Accam is thrilled to play as the lead striker for Swedish powerhouse Helsingborg IF.
Accam, 22, hogged the headlines last weekend when he grabbed a brace and provided as assist for Helsingborg in the 3-1 win over Djurgården to jet off their campaign to a dream start.
The Right to Dream graduate is delighted to play on the edge for the side in the Swedish Allsvenskan League.
“It’s my best position, so I was glad I got to play there,” he said.
“As for the outside, I get the ball in front of me, I play center, I often with my back to goal.”
The double has put Accam on top of the Allsvenskan’s topscorers’ chart.
