Lagos, Nigeria; April 03, 2013: Leading telecoms operator, Airtel Nigeria, has reassured consumers on its network of its continuous commitment to delivering world class services that would ensure personal and business growth.

Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, Airtel Nigeria, Deepak Srivastava, gave the assurance in his opening remarks at a special consumer forum organized by the company for its Corporate Customers tagged “Strengthening the Cords”, during the week at the Oriental Hotel, VI, Lagos.

According to the COO, Airtel Nigeria, since its entry into the Nigerian telecoms market has driven unparalleled significant changes that have opened new chapters in telecoms service delivery in the country.

He noted that the company’s rich portfolio of products and services have their roots in the tradition of the parent company, Bharti Airtel, which always strives to establish its rich culture of service in markets where it operates.

Airtel’s Director of Regulatory affairs, Osondu Nwokoro, who spoke on the forthcoming mobile number portability (MNP), assured on the company’s readiness for the MNP initiative billed to take off in April and which coincidentally, was first championed by Airtel Nigeria.

He stated that telecoms consumers in Nigeria have a lot to gain by being on the Airtel network as the company has committed enormous resources to building capacity and infrastructure to ensure delightful telecoms experience to customers at all times.

The Airtel corporate customers’ forum provided the company a platform to engage with its customers from the public and organized private sectors on a number of issues associated with integrated communications solutions.

The company also used the platform to acknowledge and appreciate customers’ loyalty to the brand by providing them with gifts that included top-of-range smart phones and other exotic items.

Customers at the upscale event were provided opportunity of sharing useful insights on service experience and desired telecoms solutions that would help them grow and sustain their businesses.

Among the corporate customers at the event which also featured a blend of comedy, live music and other forms of entertainment were representatives from some leading banks, manufacturing and oil and gas sectors as well as government and religious circles among others.
