Starbow Passengers Threaten Legal Action Against Airline

Passengers of local airline Starbow have threatened to take legal action against the local airline after they were left stranded in Tamale this morning.

Citi Business News has gathered the airline was forced to halt operations from Tamale to Accra on Tuesday morning after it was notified that the Tamale runway will be closed to traffic.

Dozens of passengers were affected by the move.
Some of the passengers who made distress calls to Citi Fm said the airline failed to communicate the flight cancellations leaving them stranded at the airport.

“We are very disappointed with Starbow. I bought my ticket and they indicated that the flight will take off at 11; I arrived here around 10 and was told the flight had taken off at 8 and no one made an effort to call us. Not even a text message from them, no call nothing and I gave them my details when I was bought the tickets,” a passenger complained.

Citi Business News has gathered the airline is currently making arrangements to get the passengers on other airlines.

However, Citi Business News has learnt most of the other airlines are full.
