Award winning Ghanaian music group R2bees on Friday launched its much-anticipated second album titled, ‘Refuse To Be Broke- Da Revolution II’ at the Silver Lounge at the Accra Mall.
The launch was witnessed by a number of fellow artistes including BET award winner Sarkodie, 4×4, Efya, DJ Mensah and Sandra Ankobiah, sending signals to the world to watch out for the group on the world music arena anytime soon.
Hence the group has announced that it is going to tour the world with the new album starting with a nationwide tour in Ghana.
The tour would continue in some other African countries and subsequently in some parts of UK, USA and other parts of the world.
R2bee’s 19-track album features hits such as ‘Ajeii’, ‘Life (Walaahi)’, ‘Odo’ and ‘Bayla Trap’ featuring Sarkodie.
The album is described as one of the best in recent times.
The rest of the songs on it include ‘Slow Down’ and ‘Dance’ featuring WizKid, ‘Sunudoo‘ featuring Sherifa Gunu, ‘Solo’ featuring Davido, ‘Believe Me’ with Tiinchy Stryder and ‘Party’ featuring Voicemail from Jamaica.
R2bees was recently signed as brand Ambassador for rLG at a reported amount of $300,000. The company, at the ceremony, promised to make R2bees the latest Ghanaian export to the international music scene.
