There has been some political turmoil across the African continent in the last few days.

First, the Selka rebels in the Central African Republic overthrew the government of President Francois Bozize while the Kenyan Supreme Court upheld the victory of Uhuru Kenyatta, dismissing the challenge brought by Raila Odinga.

Speaking to Radio Ghana on these developments, General Secretary of the PNC Bernard Mornah condemned the military take over in the Central Africa Republic and commended Raila Odinga for accepting the verdict of the Kenyan Supreme Court.

For his part, Deputy NDC General Secretary in charge of operations, George Lawson said he welcomes the Supreme Court ruling in Kenya.

The founder and Leader of the URP, Kofi Wayo says it is refreshing that the Kenyan Supreme Court rejected allegations of electoral fraud and upheld the victory of Uhuru Kenyatta.

He said should a similar thing happen in Ghana, the losing side must be ready to support the winner.
