Prince ‘Sabuto’ Acheampong has been confirmed as the substantive coach of King Faisal till the end of the season.
The former Asante Kotoko deputy coach replaces Mallam Yahaya who left the post unceremoniously.
The ex-Ghanaian international has travelled to Germany to attend to personal issues.
Faisal owner Alhaji Karim Gruzah has moved quickly to confirm Yahaya’s deputy as the new man in charge.
The charismatic trainer will be required to continue the side’s revival in the Ghanaian Premier League.
“I have been appointed the substantive coach till the end of the season,” Acheampong told GHANAsoccernet.com
“It’s another big boot to fill and I hope to do my best for the club so we can continue our quest to stay afloat.
“There are 10 matches to be played and we need to buckle up and fight hard in the weeks ahead.
