Getting to grip with his prosthetics … Jamie Andrews shows off his Krueger-style hands

AMPUTEE mountaineer Jamie Andrews gets set for a gripping adventure — using his Freddy Krueger-style prosthetic hands.

Rope firm boss Jamie, 43 — who lost all four limbs to frostbite in 1999 — will tackle a 121ft wall in Groningen, Holland, as tough for him as the famed Eiger peak is for an able-bodied climber.

The Edinburgh-based dad of three, who has scaled Ben Nevis, said: ‘Having no hands makes it difficult. It can be scary.’
