Medeama beats Aduana to extend Premier League lead

Medeama secured a comprehensive 3-2 victory over Aduana Stars on Sunday to open a three point lead at the summit of the Ghana Premier League.

Godbless Asamoah’s 19th minute strike was canceled by Godfred Saka with a sweet free kick.

That however didn’t stop the Yellow and Mauves from running amok at the Tarkwa T&A Park.

Godfred Rockson restored Medeama’s lead with a penalty which saw defender Emmanuel Akuoku sent off in the 44th minute.

Bismark Asiedu made the one-man advantage count with an excellent finish in the second half.

Medeama can now breath easily at the top of the Ghana Premier League table with champions Asante Kotoko playing out a goalless draw at Wa All Stars.
