President John Dramani Mahama has named his spokesperson, John Abdulai Jinapor, among the list of 26 appointees for various Deputy Ministerial roles in his government.

A statement from the flagstaff House in Accra signed by the Executive Secretary of the President, Dr. Raymond A Atuguba indicated that the young and affable Jinapor, who has been speaking for the then Vice President and now President since 2009 will now head to the Ministry of Energy & Petroleum to support Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah in pursuing the President’s vision for the energy and oil sectors.

Thanking the President for the appointment, Mr. Jinapor wrote on his facebook wall that working with President Mahama over the years has taught him that humility, respect and hard work pays.

“I am deeply humbled by the Opportunity given me by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama to serve as a deputy minster for Energy and Petroleum’, he inscribed, adding that it is a great honour done him, to serve this country.
