Winneba (C/R) March 31, GNA- The Agona Swedru Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle David Yaboah Asare has advised Ghanaians to learn to forgive each other with the death and resurrection of Christ.
He said the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus has brought redemption to mankind and therefore Ghanaians should not indulge in acts that could undermine the development of the country.
Apostle Asare gave the advice at a four-day Easter Convention of the Winneba Zone of the church in Winneba.
The Programme, on the theme: ‘And Jesus said it is finished,’ was attended by members from Potsin, Ansaful, Apam, Winneba Abasaraba, Ankamu and Winneba.
Apostle Asare urged Ghanaians to pray harder to receive the anointing of the Holy Ghost to withstand the challenges that may come their way.
He asked them to put their trust in the Lord rather than in fellow human beings and manmade things that cannot bring salvation to them.
‘Let us live in unity since the death of Christ symbolises reconciliation for us to forge ahead towards the growth of the country.’
Apostle Asare called on Ghanaians to give the government time to formulate programme and policies to build a better Ghana instead of criticising the officials.
