Ayariga Abdul-Samel Gadafi Abare popularly known as (GADAFI) was born in 11thOctober 1985 at Navrongo, Upper East Region .He had his primary and junior high education at Bolgatanga. In 2002 he gains admission to Adisadel College where he obtained SSSCE certificate. In 2006, Mr. Gadafi pursued a course at NIIT where he obtained certificate as a certified PC Technician at Accra. In 2010 Mr. Gadafi furthered to the University for Development studies to pursue Bsc Agribusiness which is still on-going.
The leadership skill of this young man exceeds comprehension and because of this, He has held a number of positions both inside and outside school campus. He has been a course Representative for Agribusiness, President for Toende Students Union, Bawku West, Group Leader for the Third Trimester Practical Program, I.C.T Manager at Faith Clinic, Bawku West District etc.
In fact, all the aforementioned credentials of Mr. GADAFI depicts vividly that He is a true leader indeed. Recently as the didactics’ of the school (UDS,NYANKPALA CAMPUS)is concerned there was the need to elect a new President for the Student Representative Council (SRC) , and this news attracted many competent students to vied for the position which Mr. Gadafi was not exempted .Soon the election day came and students went and exercise their franchise as to the leader they wanted, though majority of the students voted for Mr. Gadafi, however He was unable to pluck the 50 +1% vote mandated by the electoral commission and hence there was a Run-off between Mr. Gadafi and one Candidate but the voice of the students this time around was overwhelming as they voted massively for Mr. Gadafi as the next SRC PRESIDENT.
According to Mr. President, he promised not to renege on the promises he made before the elections, and wish in his capacity to transform the Nyankpala campus to a standard one. Kudos My President, and have a wonderful tenure of office.
