AUCC launches Alumni meetings



Accra, Feb 1, GNA – The African University College of Communication (AUCC) on Friday launched it’s Alumni Association meetings in Accra in furtherance of the College’s quest to advance it’s status as a standard University.

Mr. Kwesi Yankah, Vice President of the Technology and Business Development of the College, launched the Alumni meetings and said the reputation of any institution of learning, largely depended on its Alumni.

Mr. Yankah, who chaired the program, said Alumni members represented their institution in the larger world, and made recommendations concerning matters that bordered on the progress of the institution.

He urged the AUCC’s Alumni to partner with the Academic Affairs Department of the institution to ensure that the College ran efficiently.

Mr. Osei Piesie Anto, Dean of Strategic Studies told past students of the College to bring the experience they had gathered in their various endeavors to bear on the progress on the AUCC.

“The Alumni should look back and get our mission done in order for the school to attain it’s highest potential,” he said.

The AUCC was established a decade ago.
