Asamoah Gyan picked up the Samsung Fair Play Award
Asamoah Gyan picked his second successive Samsung Fair Play Award in Ghana’s 2-0 win over Cape Verde on Saturday.
The Ghana captain once again provided leadership on the pitch an exhibited great sportsmanship as the Ghanaians strolled to the difficult win at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Port Elizabeth.
The victory ends the fairytale story of the Islanders in the continental event but sends the Black Stars to their fourth successive semi-finals.
Gyan picked up the same award during the team’s resounding 3-0 win over Niger.
