Mahama Consoles Brazilian President Over Nightclub Fire

President John Dramani Mahama has sent a message of condolence to the Brazilian President, Dilma Vana Rousseff, her government and families of the 230 people who lost their lives in the nightclub fire.

A statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson, John Abdulai Jinapor, quoted the President as saying in the message that “for a nation to lose so many of its citizens especially young and university students is a serious tragedy that can affects its human resource.”

The message mourned with all who lost a relation, friend or loved one in the ‘Kiss Nightclub’ fire, and expressed on behalf of the Government and People of Ghana, “condolences to the families of the victims.”
