There Are No Jobs In South Africa So Come Back To Ghana After AFCON

Ghanaians seeking to travel to South Africa to witness the African Cup of Nations should never think they will not return to Ghana when the competition is over.

According to the South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Jeanette Ndlovu, South Africa is also faced with high unemployment rate like many other countries in the world.

Speaking to XYZ BUSINESS, Madam Ndlovu cautioned all sports fans who will be in South Africa to be wary of persons promising to secure them resident visas.

“Crooks who are telling the soccer fans that they can get them visas and then after the AFCON they can stay in South Africa and work that is not true,” she said.

She said even though South Africans welcome people who go through the normal process to get into the country, it is important to note that the country also has its own challenges.

“It is not easy to gain employment in South Africa right now,” Madam Ndlovu said. She however urged the Ghanaians fans to enjoy the first class facilities during the tournament.
