Nations Cup debutant and Bristol City winger Albert Adomah will be in Ghana’s starting XI against DR Congo on Sunday, Ghana sports can exclusively reveal.

Coach Akwasi Appiah’s starting eleven, according to our sources, will also include Anthony Annan and Isaac Vorsah once the two players get all clear from team doctor Baba.

Already team doctor Baba Adamu has assured Ghanaians that the injury situation of Annan and Vorsah is not too bad as previously feared.

Number one goalie Adam Kwarasey will be in post whilst John Paintsil will be at the right full back. Juventus Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah will be initiating the team’s attack from the left full back whilst Atsu and Adomah operate from the left and right sides of midfield respectively.

Barring any last minute injuries Appiah’s starting eleven on Sunday will consist of the following: Kwarasey, John Paintsil, Kwadwo Asamoah, Isaac Vorsah, John Boye, Anthony Annan, Agyeman, Badu, Albert Adomah, Christian Atsu, Asamoah Gyan and Wakasu Mubarak.
