xinhuanet.com : A suicide bomber blew up near a Sunni lawmaker on Tuesday in the city of Fallujah, west of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, killing him and three of his bodyguards, a local police source told Xinhua.
The incident took place at about 2:00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) when the suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest detonated himself near Eifan al-Issawi, a lawmaker from the Sunni-backed parliamentary bloc of Iraqia, the source said on condition of anonymity.
