Outgoing Minister for Communications, Haruna Iddrisu, is likely to head the newly created Ministry of Oil and Gas, reports have said.
Industry watchers say President Mahama may have created the Ministry to ensure Ghana’s new oil resource is properly managed to enhance the sector.
