Herty Borngreat To Premiere Controversial “Christo Zonto” Video Tomorrow

Fast rising Gospel singer Herty Borngreat is at it again. The award winning singer is about to release yet another single titled “Christo Zonto” (Ayiye Asa) and a video that comes with it will be premiered tomorrow on TV.

This would be the third single out of her second album, after releasing ‘Kano Seyaa’ with award-winning hip-hop star, Trigmatic and ‘Bebrebe’ featuring BET Award winner Sarkodie.

The never- seen- before video will be premiered exclusively on GH One’s “E-Talk” entertainment show hosted by Amanda Jissih aka Mandy J, tomorrow Thursday January 10, 2013 exactly 8pm. The song was produced by Kaywa whiles the video was directed by Isaac Offei Awuah.

Peacefmonline.com had an opportunity to see the video and off course it’s another masterpiece from the mother of five. She is seen in the video wearing jeans, T-shirt and a jacket and scarf around her neck unlike how most female Gospel musicians dress in their videos.
The video has fire somewhere, water and some “Christo Zonto” or better still gospel Azonto moves by Herty herself and some dancers and also some special effects.

The song is a praise song and according Herty this to give Christians and gospel music lovers the chance to also do the fast growing Azonto dance which proudly originated from Ghana and also praise God at the same time.

Herty Borngreat was not left out in the Christmas celebrations. She performed on the “Victory Carnival” on the Osu Oxford Streets on 26th December 2012 and also performed on Becca’s “Girl Talk” concert on December 21st at the National Theatre.

She also won the award for “Best Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year” at the first Zoom Alliance Ghana Gospel Music Awards 2012, after winning the “Discovery Artiste of the Year” at the 2011 Ghana Music Awards (GMAs) as the first gospel musician to win that award.
