Source:<\/strong> Joy Online<\/p>\nJournalists from the Election Headquarters\u2013 Joy FM have been attacked by persons suspected to be supporters from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).<\/p>\n
The Joy team was part of the convoy of the AU chairman, Yayi Boni who was heading to the residence of the New Patriotic Party flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo for a meeting.<\/p>\n
The cudgel-wielding supporters accosted the Joy team who were in a Joy FM branded vehicle and began the attack, clubbing the vehicle at will and with venom.<\/p>\n
Manasseh Awuni Azuri who was part of the team told Myjoyonline.com but for the timely intervention of the police and military personnel they would have been lynched.<\/p>\n
According to him, the vehicle has been dented severely after the attack.<\/p>\n
