Ghana\u2019s U-17 men\u2019s national team, the Black Starlets have been handed a tough draw for next year\u2019s African U17 Championship after drawing Nigeria and Ivory Coast.<\/p>\n
The Black Starlets were named in Group B and will face their West African rivals as well as Congo after Sunday\u2019s draw in Cairo.<\/p>\n
Hosts Morocco were drawn in Group A where they will take on Gabon, Tunisia and Botswana.<\/p>\n
Ghana will be based in Marrakesh during the tournament while Group A matches will be played in Casablanca.<\/p>\n
The final tournament has been fixed for 13-27 April in Morocco.<\/p>\n
The semi finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates next October.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Ghana will face hosts Algeria in Group A of the Africa U20 Championship early next year.<\/p>\n
The Black Satellites were also drawn against Benin and Egypt in the group in the tournament in March.<\/p>\n
Title holders Nigeria will play Mali, Congo and Gabon as they bid to wrestle the title from the Flying Eagles.<\/p>\n
The Black Satellites will be based in the town of Ain Pemouchent while Group B will be in Oran.
\nGhana, three-time winners (1993, 9999 and 2009), will be making a ninth appearance.<\/p>\n
