The Member of Parliament of the Efutu constituency in the Central Region, Mr Mike Hammah who is also the Minister of Natural Resources has lost his seat.<\/p>\n

The NPP candidate Alexander Afenya-Markin polled 19,062 votes as against 16,977 by the NDC candidate, Mr Mike Hammah.<\/p>\n

In the Presidential elections however, President Mahama won with 18,219 votes as against 18,074 by Nana Akufo-Addo of the NPP.<\/p>\n
