Chelsea<\/a> defender Gary Cahill<\/a> is eyeing victory in the Community Shield as the perfect way to start the Blues\u2019 2012-13 campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n

Roberto Di Matteo\u2019s side, who won the FA Cup last year, will take on Premier League champions Manchester City at Villa Park on Sunday in the season curtain raiser.<\/span><\/p>\n

And the 26-year-old is hungry for more success with Chelsea following their Champions League triumph in May, and is delighted to be at the club following his move from Bolton in January.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery time you play you want to win and this is the first chance for us to pick up a trophy in the new season,\u201d he told the FA\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n

“I have been reflecting in the summer about how things have changed and how things have turned around in the six months since I came to Chelsea.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been amazing, really; it\u2019s been a great journey for me and one that I feel I\u2019ve only just got a taste of now. It\u2019s not as though I can just think: \u2018I\u2019ve been there, done that and got a couple of medals\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve really got a taste for it now and I want to go on, do more and win more competitions. I\u2019m as hungry as I have ever been, going into this season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cahill believes it will be an odd experience for him to play the Community Shield at Villa Park, a ground he is familiar with after spending eight years at Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIt\u2019s always strange going back to Villa Park for me. It\u2019s still weird when I go there because I know so many people at the club and it is a great stadium.<\/p>\n
