She\u2019s back! Please say hello again to celebrity blogger\u00a0Jennie Finch<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n After sharing her pregnancy<\/a> with now 13-month-old son Diesel Dean<\/strong> with us, we asked the recently retired softball player for an update on family life.<\/em><\/p>\n It turns out that Finch had some news to break: she\u2019s expecting her third child in January!<\/em><\/p>\n In addition to Baby D, the Olympian<\/a>, 31 \u2014 who won gold in Athens and silver in Beijing \u2014 and her husband, pitcher\u00a0Casey Daigle<\/strong>, are also parents to son\u00a0Ace Shane<\/strong>, 6.<\/em><\/p>\n You can find Finch \u2014 author of\u00a0<\/em>Throw Like a Girl: How to Dream Big and Believe in Yourself<\/a>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0on Facebook<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0@JFinch27<\/a>\u00a0on Twitter.<\/em> Hello again! I\u2019m excited to be back here on PEOPLE.com<\/a> after being asked how my little guy<\/a>, Baby D, is doing as of his first birthday<\/a>.<\/p>\n Diesel \u2014 yes, a unique name but it suits him perfectly<\/a>! \u2014 is doing wonderfully and growing fast. He\u2019s a big guy, cruising around as he just started walking. He\u2019s after his big brother<\/a>, Ace \u2014 who\u2019s 6 now! \u2014 and making us smile every day.<\/p>\n Diesel\u2019s outgrowing the clothes I saved from Ace so quickly. It\u2019s unbelievable how fast the time passes<\/a>. I played in the MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game<\/a> earlier this month, and it\u2019s reminded me of playing the same game a year ago<\/a> \u2014 Diesel was only two weeks old!<\/p>\n I remember being in the ladies locker room\u00a0in-between\u00a0all the fun things MLB has us do, pumping away and missing my little guy.<\/p>\n I always look forward to the All-Star festivities, and it was another great game this year. We always have a good time out there. The fans in Kansas City were out of this world \u2014 one of the best crowds I\u2019ve had the chance to play in front of.<\/p>\n I got to play alongside some of the all-time legends of the game again, and since some of us have done it for a few years now, there\u2019s such good camaraderie.<\/p>\n It\u2019s always fun to meet the celebrities, too. Jon Hamm<\/a> and Eric Stonestreet<\/a> were fun to get to know and play with. I gave Eric the underhand fast pitch heat this year, brushing him off the home plate!<\/p>\n There\u2019s a woman at my equipment company, Mizuno<\/a>, who handles all the equipment needs for their baseball and softball players. She\u2019s the glue over there, and we are all so blessed to have her.<\/p>\n In all the years I\u2019ve known her, and with all the professional athletes she knows, she was flipping out<\/em> that I would get to meet Jon Hamm. I wasn\u2019t sure I should even tell her that he used my bat during the game for fear she\u2019d faint or something, but I was able to get a picture with him.<\/p>\n James Denton<\/a> is always a blast to play with, and Chord Overstreet<\/a> was back, too, and played hard. Plus I love Paulie DeMeo \u2014 he has a heart of gold. It was his second time this year, and it was so fun to see him again. The Zac Brown Band played, and two of my friends from the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team<\/a> were asked to play, too.<\/p>\n It was awesome to be there alongside these two guys who are such an inspiration and who have given so much for us and our freedom. They\u2019re so young, and they\u2019ve given so much to our country. Their view on life is incredible \u2014 their motto is that \u201clife without limbs is limitless,\u201d and they live that every day and give hope to and inspire others. It\u2019s amazing to see, and they can play! Their infielder Matt Kinsey actually walked away with the MVP trophy this year.<\/p>\n I had a chance to play against them this winter, and decided on the spot to host a Battle on the Bayou in my Louisiana hometown<\/a>. They were booked out for the year but I was excited they let us squeeze another date on their calendar. It turned out to be busy already, but we chose the date and got to work.<\/p>\n The community in southwestern Louisiana embraced the cause and came up big! We were able to raise more than $200,000, and are so proud! So many came together for such a great cause, it was truly one of the best things I\u2019ve been able to be a part of.<\/p>\n I had a little<\/em> secret through all of this, though. Casey and I<\/a> are expecting our third little one<\/a> in January!!<\/p>\n A few days before that crazy week that included MLB All-Star, the ESPYs<\/a>, the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame induction for our 2004 Olympic Softball Team, a Battle on the Bayou fundraiser to benefit the Wounded Warrior Foundation, and<\/em> a softball camp<\/a>, I realized I\u2019d been feeling more tired than usual and just kind of, well, strange.<\/p>\n I looked at Casey and said, \u201cI have that feeling again<\/a> and I think I need to take a pregnancy test.\u201d He said, \u201cI\u2019ve had that same feeling\u201d so off to the store we went. Sure enough, it came back positive.<\/p>\n We were so excited! I love my boys, and I just didn\u2019t feel like I was finished having babies<\/a>, so this pregnancy is truly another blessing. We\u2019re so grateful for our family as it is<\/a>, and to think that it will grow even more this winter is amazing.<\/p>\n I\u2019m looking forward to hearing from all of you again this time around, too \u2014 advice, questions, anything!
