Fire Service brings Dannex fire under control

Citifmonline.com can confirm that the Ghana Fire Service has brought the fire that gutted one of the warehouses of Dannex Ghana Limited under control. 

Citi News reporter, Pearl Ofori indicates that small pockets of flames are currently being doused by the Service’s personnel. 

The fire is reported to have started around 12.15 GMT on Wednesday. 

According to the workers and management of the company, they were locked in a meeting when the fire started.

According to Pearl Ofori, the management of the company indicate that a substantial amount of their raw materials were lost in the fire. 

The machines in the warehouse were however, not adversely affected because they were carried out of the warehouse. 

Dannex Limited is a wholly owned private limited liability company set up in May 1964, expressly for the purpose of manufacturing and distribution of Pharmaceutical products. 

Their wide range of products include the Durol range of products, Danacin, Koffex and Gluco-Naf.
