Emmanuel Clottey will sign for Esperance

Berekum Chelsea have agreed to sell striker Emmanuel Clottey to reigning African champions Esperance in a US$ 1.5 million move


The 2011 Ghanaian champions have granted permission to the Ghana international to travel to Tunis for medical and negotiate his personal terms. 


He left Accra on Monday afternoon together with compatriot Harrison Afful who has spent three years at the club.  


Clottey has been on the wish list of many clubs including UAE side Wasl who were reported to meet his asking price. 


He leads the scorers chart in the 2012 CAF Champions League with 12 goals.
