Barbara Sorakiss Introduces Rave-Zonto Music

Barbara Sorakiss

One of Ghana’s upcoming music icons, Barbara Sorakiss, who has promised to change the trend of Ghanaian music with her music, has released her hit single, ‘No Pain No Game’, which is yet to receive airplay on some selected radio stations in the country.

Barbara, whose style of play and live music performances has won the hearts of many music lovers, has again promised to do something extraordinary to satisfy her fans.

Barbara has developed the genuine and exciting rave-zonto music, a kind of music made up African American rhythms which are appealing to most music fans in Europe and America.

Its level of play is comparable to the afro pop music legends of America.

The hit single is motivating and soul-touching, and though it is obvious that it was composed and sang by a young Ghanaian artiste, the rhythms and beats in her song could easily compete with those on the international music market.

Barbara is what her management terms, a breath of fresh air in an already male-dominated industry.

The release of her single was in fulfilment of a cherished dream in her music career, which had all along been linked to the rave- zonto music.

The lyrics of her hit single, ‘No Pain No Game’ and her good vocal power are neatly arranged with sensational and inspirational rhythms, making the song unique and pleasing to the ear.

The rave-zonto song has a really nice dancing beat touch fused with afro pop with good drum beat and a nice rap that will not be lost on anyone who was in a soothing mood.

Barbara, who looked determined to rub shoulders with those on the international music scene, promised that her unique style and determination would get her there.

Barbara carved a niche for herself as a music icon when she showcased her talent during her childhood by participating in a number of talent shows and church activities.

When she realised the talent in her, Barbara started developing it and with support from a number of icons, she had the opportunity to work with some music stars in Ghana and beyond.

Currently, she had dropped her single which is yet to be released on the music market.

Barbara was also featured in a movie, ‘Hellbound’ starring Kofi Adjololo, Gifty Emeng among others.

Still growing, she has a lot in mind but would not stop at anything till she was above the limit.
