We all know that Alexandra Burke likes the bad boys, but even they might be scared off after seeing her recent gesture.

The former X Factor champion attended the 18th birthday celebration of Attitude magazine and took the title of the glossy a little too literally, last night.

The 23-year-old was performing at One Leicester Square when she decided to stick her middle finger up to the crowd.

It’s not clear why the Elephant singer made the rude signal, but she didn’t appear to care too much if people were offended.

Burke was rather scantily dressed and seemed in a mischievious mood as she entertained the other celebrities at the party.

She wore a pair of extremely tight black trousers that were beginning to undo themselves from their front zip fastening.

She teamed the trousers with a colourful crop top that showed off her impressive set of abs, and a loose and baggy fit black jacket.

It was clear from her one fingered salute that the All Night Long singer had recently had a manicure that she was eager to show off at the gay magazine party.

Alexandra arrived at the party in the same outfit but decided to wear a white pair of leggings as she ran through the streets with a friend.

Miss Burke was not the only former X Factor star to perform at the night, and Marcus Collins also jumped on stage to sing his top ten hit Seven Nation Army.

The 23-year-old was impressed with Alexandra’s set and tweeted: ‘@alexandramusic you tore it up last night babe ! Lovely to see you again x’.

She replied to him: ‘@MarcuscollinsUK Lovely seeing you too babes! Let’s grab a drink asap.. ! Big hugs xx’.

Other stars who turned up on the night included actor Russell Tovey and Dancing On Ice judge Louie Spence, who was joined by his nephew Lotan Carter.
