The last few series of The Only Way Is Essex have seen Lydia Bright frequently in tears over her rocky romance with James ‘Arg’ Argent.
But after the couple have finally appeared to split for good, it looks like the blonde reality star is optimistic of a happier Series 5.
Spotted on her first day of filming the new series, the 21-year-old looked happy and comfortable with her single status.
Heading out for dinner to celebrate her mother Debbie Douglas’s 51st birthday, Lydia showed off her enviable figure in a fitted print-dress.

The tight dress must be a current favourite of the TOWIE fashionista because she also wore it to her party last Thursday to celebrate her recent charity trip to India.
Lydia teamed up with Denise Van Outen to cycle 289 miles from Delhi to Japiur last month.
The pair ended up raising over £33,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

So after cycling so far, its no surprise to see Lydia is looking in good shape and happy to flaunt her toned physique in figure-hugging outfits.
Last night, she joined mother Debbie and sister Georgia at Italian restaurant Rosso, near their home in Woodford Green, Essex.
Clearly excited, mother Debbie tweeted: ‘I am overwhelmed with all my birthday

MUM in the world my kids have spoilt me rotten. And the sun is shinning.

And despite their bitter split in
January, it appears Lydia’s ex James ‘Arg’ Argent is still in touch with
Debbie and sent her a present.
Debbie tweeted him: ‘Thank you for my most amazing flowers and champagne You know me sooooo well #excellenttaste.’
Asie from her mother’s birthday celebrations, Lydia admitted she was hoping for a drama-free Series 5 – which doesn’t exactly bode well for viewers.
She wrote on Twitter: ‘First day back filming soooo excited for series 5 no stress, no drama 😀 couldn’t be happier.’
The new series of TOWIE is set to start on ITV2 on Sunday.
Producers will be hoping to a boost to viewing figures are Series 4 attracted an average of 1.3million, compared to Series 3’s 1.9million.
