VVV’s Ahmed Musa agrees personal terms with CSKA Moscow – report

VVV attacker Ahmed Musa has agreed personal terms with Russian club CSKA Moscow and could completed his transfer to Russia in the upcoming days, NUsport reports.

The young Nigerian has been on the books of many clubs including Arsenal and Schalke since he moved to Holland in 2010, where he made a big impact with Eredivisie side VVV.

Musa, 19, broke the 20-year-old scoring record of the Nigeria Premier League in 2010 after scoring 18 goals in as many games.

He has become a member of the Nigeria senior team and was nominated for the Confederation of African Football’s (Caf) young player award in 2011.

CSKA and VVV have yet to agree on a transfer fee for the young player, who has a contract until 2013.

In September 2011, the Venlo side allegedly turned down a big money offer from a Bundesliga club for his services.
