Wesley Sneijder has admitted there is a chance that he will leave Inter in January, with Manchester United believed to be in the hunt for the midfielder.

The Italian side’s sporting director, Marco Branca, reportedly travelled to England this week for talks with the title holders over the Netherlands international, who had previously insisted he would stay at San Siro.

“If I must give a percentage for it, I think I am 90 per cent certain I will stay [until at least the summer],” Sneijder told Voetbal International.

“I enjoy myself here at the moment and at this point I don’t have anything to choose from.

“I don’t say that I am 100% certain because something unexpected can always happen.”

Sneijder had been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout last summer’s transfer window but the deal collapsed for reasons unknown.
