WAM is an acronym which stands for \u2018What About ME?\u2019 to challenge young people to become leaders and achieve more when helping others.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign sets out to achieve its goals through volunteering, by making it easier and more accessible for young people to engage, relate and volunteer whilst on holiday; targeting the Christmas season, as it represents the period with the highest number of travelers from around the world venturing to Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the WAM volunteer programme includes a range of activities for orphans and vulnerable children aged from 3-11 years old. It is free to participate and we have made the days flexible and adaptable for anyone who wants to help, be it for an hour, a day or a week, to help make volunteering convenient and accessible.<\/p>\n<p>The project kicks off from December 27- 31 at the \u00a0Family Outreach Centre based in Accra (Spintex) with daily volunteering activities between 9am -4pm.
