Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has lamented the exit of his top marksman Ahmed Toure from the club.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


Toure will undergo a medical at Egyptian side Al Masry in a deal reported to be around $1.2m.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ivorian has been the club’s major source of goals this term after netting six times in ten matches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


Konadu, who has profited from the strriker\u2019s purple patch of scoring form, is unhappy with the latest development.<\/span><\/p>\n


“I am sad that Toure who is our top scorer this season is leaving the club whilst the league is in progress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


“But the club has no option than to let him go because management needs cash to run the club successfully.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n


“We would use part of the monies raised from his sale to recruit decent players to fill the gap created.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
