The format was deliberately chosen to emphasise the universal World AIDS Day theme, &#8216;Getting to Zero&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>YDF and the Football for Hope Centre want to use the tolerance and non-discrimination aspects of the &#8216;Getting to Zero&#8217; theme to educate and encourage young soccer players to be the torch-bearers against discrimination against people living with HIV-AIDS, as well as for the complete elimination of HIV infections.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Through the &#8216;Zero New HIV Infections&#8217; and &#8216;Zero Discrimination&#8217; focus areas, we are playing our small but hopefully significant role in helping our Government and the United Nations to give the fight against HIV the attention it deserves&#8221; they say.<\/p>\n<p>The Football for Hope Centre is located in the Katutura Youth Sports Complex.
