But the opposition NPP is asking the National Media Commission and CHRAJ to take up the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, GJA Vice President Affail Monney told Joy News the development is worrying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat is unfolding has serious implications for the media, serious implication for our democracy, and serious implication for governance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the GJA is investigating the matter, and Mr. Monney said any member found culpable will not be spared.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a very serious issue, again, if it is proved right, what our position spelt out is expulsion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause journalist has only one thing to rely on and that is his or her integrity.
