\"\"<\/a>Two security men who were picked as a result of the recent robbery at the Accra Mall branch of ECOBANK on Friday appeared before an Accra Circuit Court.<\/p>\n

Francis Agbemade and Kofi Yeboah are being held for conspiracy to commit crime.<\/p>\n

They have pleaded not guilty and the court, presided over by Mr Eric Kyei-Baffour, admitted them to bail in the sum of GH\u00a2100,000 with a surety each.<\/p>\n

Three other people who were involved in the robbery are on the run.<\/p>\n

Granting them bail, the court noted that the facts presented by the prosecution were unable to explain the role the accused persons played in the said robbery.<\/p>\n

The accused persons are to reappear on August 18.<\/p>\n

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kofi Blagodzi said on July 21, 2011, a group of three armed men stormed the Accra Shopping Mall branch of ECOBANK and took away $48,000, \u20ac9,000, \u00a34,500 and GH\u00a2195,233.81 at gun point with the assistance of the accused persons, who were on duty.<\/p>\n

DSP Blagodzi said the robbers succeeded in bolting with the money.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor said the movements of the accused were captured by the CCTV camera and the police were making efforts to capture the three remaining robbers.<\/p>\n
