Wolves<\/a> chief executive Jez Moxey<\/a> has confessed that any players who are sold during the last month of the transfer window may not be replaced.<\/span><\/p>\n

Manager Mick McCarthy has already spent over \u00a310 million securing the services of Jamie O\u2019Hara, Roger Johnson and goalkeeper Dorus De Vries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Irishman is still hoping to strengthen his squad but Moxey has told him that players must be sold too.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not about \u2018cash-strapped Wolves having to sell before they can buy\u2019, or that can we only bring in players if we get rid of players first,” Moxey told Wolves\u2019 official website.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have got a small amount of spare capacity within the overall squad, which means some players are available to leave.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt doesn\u2019t make sense to certain senior players \u2013 and neither for us \u2013 to keep them here if they are not going to play.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

McCarthy will be hoping to complete the signing of at least one midfielder, with the likes of Jay Liverpool’s Spearing and Thomas Hitzlsperger of West Ham being linked with a move to Molineux.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moxey added: \u201cIf we find the right player at the right money, then we might still add to our squad because we are always looking to improve the team and we think we have done so already.<\/span><\/p>\n
