Manchester City<\/a> stiker Edin Dzeko<\/a> believes his goal against Inter<\/a> in the Dublin Super Cup will give him the confidence to score plenty more during the rest of the season.<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u00a327 million January signing had a goal disallowed in the first half, but just 34 seconds into the second half the Bosnian stroked the ball past Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar into the bottom corner.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was really good for my confidence, I think I was a bit tired in the last few minutes, but at the end when I watched the game I think we played like a team and were very very good,” Dezko told City’s official website after the game.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think we played really well from the first to the last minute and I think we deserved to win the game, and also the tournament.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

City will open their season in the traditional curtain raiser next weekend in the Community Shield against bitter rivals Manchester United, and Dzeko believes his side can win.<\/span><\/p>\n
